Role

Jessica is an experienced associate at Omnia whose practice centres on international commercial and investment arbitration disputes and the resolution of complex cross-border challenges facing States, corporates and private clients. Jessica advises clients across a range of sectors including oil and gas, telecommunications, real estate, life sciences and energy. She has recently been involved in litigation in U.S. federal courts and arbitrations under many of the major institutional rules, including ICSID, ICC and DIAC.

Career

Jessica has spent nearly ten years advising on complex disputes (litigation and arbitration) in the United States, England, and Germany. She began her career at a national boutique law firm in the United States with a particular focus on intellectual property, antitrust and commercial disputes before federal courts and domestic administrative bodies, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Alongside her commercial work, Jessica has experience providing counsel to clients in the fields of constitutional law, human rights and international law. Following the completion of her L.L.M. in London, Jessica worked at leading international law firms in Germany and London.

Qualifications

Jessica is a dual-qualified lawyer practising as a solicitor in England and Wales and a New York attorney. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs and Political Science from the George Washington University and later obtained her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. She recently completed her L.L.M. degree in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution with distinction at the Queen Mary University of London. Jessica has remained actively involved with Queen Mary where she has coached students for the Monroe E. Price Media Law  Moot Competition and the Cross Examination Moot since 2021.
