Opinio Juris publishes Alessandro Rollo’s article on the Escazú Agreement

The leading public international law blog Opinio Juris has published a contribution by Omnia Strategy’s associate Alessandro Rollo as today’s featured article.

Alessandro’s article addresses the Escazú Agreement, the first treaty addressing access to information, public participation and justice in environmental matters in Latin America and the Caribbean. Hailed as a long-awaited breakthrough in the region’s environmental governance, the treaty provides a multilateral and human rights-based framework to underpin and promote environmental democracy, cooperation and capacity-building.
