Balkan Arbitration Conference 5 – 7 July 2021 (Online)

Supported by LCIA and GAR,  Join us on 5 – 7 July 2021 for the Balkan Arbitration Conference 2021, the arbitration conference for the Balkan region.

Omnia Strategy’s Chair and Co-founder Cherie Blair CBE, QC will be Moderating a Panel Discussion (Reforming Investor-State Dispute Resolution) on Wednesday 7 July 2021 at 15:00 to 16:00 (CET).

Omnia Strategy’s Arbitration Associate, Ivaylo Dimitrov, will be a panelist on a discussion around Enforcement of Awards  on Monday 5 July 2021 at 15:00 to 16:00 (CET)

​Arbitration, as a form of dispute resolution, has a great deal to offer the Balkan region. The hope is that the Conference will encourage discussion and debate across the region on this subject, helping experiences to be shared across national boundaries and legal systems. In doing so, they hope to encourage the use of arbitration in the region as a way of resolving disputes.

​If you have experience of (or merely an interest in) arbitration, whether as a client, lawyer or other professional, or you want to find out how it could help to resolve disputes more effectively, our programme of world-class speakers and panelists from within and outside the region will be of interest to you.

​This year, sadly, the Conference must be online, due to COVID-19. One benefit of that, however, is that the organizers are able to make participation this year free of charge. In future years, they plan to organise the Conference as an in-person event in the region, to which we look forward to welcoming you.
