Omnia organizes Webinar to Angolan State lawyers on the ‘Prevention and Resolution of International Disputes in Times of Covid-19

On 23 September 2020, Omnia Strategy LLP facilitated a webinar on the ‘Prevention and Resolution of International Disputes in Times of Covid-19’. This well-received training session was organised by the Government of Angola’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Omnia Strategy LLP, and AV&A (Alves Visandule e Associados) in association with RSA LP.

The webinar was opened by Adelino Naquarta, Director of the Legal and Exchange Office of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and Cherie Blair CBE, QC, Chair of Omnia Strategy. Andreia Gonçalves da Costa, an Angolan lawyer at AV&A and RSA, spoke about the impact of Covid-19 on contractual relations while Ana Paula Montans, Senior Associate at Omnia Strategy, delivered a masterclass on the protections afforded by international law to foreign investments during the pandemic.

The webinar forms part of Omnia Strategy’s on-going capacity building programme with States around the globe.
