Omnia Recognises Excellence and Dedication in Latest Promotions.

Omnia Strategy LLP is pleased to announce the following promotions, effective today.

Ana Paula Montans – Promoted to Partner

Ana Paula joined Omnia as a Senior Associate in 2018 before being promoted to Of Counsel in November 2021.

A lawyer dual-qualified in Brazil and France, Ana Paula regularly advises corporate and sovereign clients in complex, high-stakes arbitration proceedings conducted under all major sets of arbitration rules (including ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, SCC, DIAC, DIS, CBMA and AMCHAM-Brazil) in a wide range of sectors (including telecoms, mining, energy, agribusiness, corporate and international sales/services), and also sits as an arbitrator.

Ana Paula was featured in the Legal 500 “International Arbitration Powerlist UK” in 2023, and has been recognised as an arbitration “Future Leader – Non-Partners” by Who’s Who Legal, which described her as “a brilliant, sharp and responsible counsel”.

Cherie Blair CBE, KC, Chair of Omnia, welcomed Ana Paula’s promotion, saying:  “I am thrilled to welcome Ana Paula to the partnership at Omnia. Her promotion is testament to her hard work and ability to balance demanding professional commitments, consistent with both the values of our – once again majority-female – partnership and our continued commitment to the further development of our elite international disputes practice. Her work for the Government of Albania has been particularly impressive as has her development of Omnia’s Latin American focus”.

Ana Paula said: “I am so excited to step into this new role as a Partner at Omnia at a time when our unique Law+ model increasingly offers clients a compelling advantage over conventional firms. Working with such a dedicated team and under the guidance of inspirational leaders like Cherie Blair has been incredible. I am grateful for the confidence and support from everyone at the firm.

“This promotion not only marks a personal achievement but also underscores Omnia’s commitment to diversity and to broadening our global horizons through our expanding focus on Latin America. I look forward to embracing the new challenges and opportunities ahead, and am fully committed to contributing further to our success”.
