Omnia’s Chair Cherie Blair CBE KC article entitled “International Arbitration and Human Rights: Exciting Opportunity or Existential Threat?” was recently published by the International Arbitration Law Review.
In it, Mrs Blair calls on the legal community not to discard Investor-State Dispute Settlement but rather to redouble efforts to make this mechanism compatible with human rights and – beyond that – an effective forum to promote and protect human rights.
