Maria Oproglidou




Maria’s growing practice focuses on international investment disputes, international arbitration and business and human rights. She also has experience in assisting arbitrators.


Prior to joining Omnia, Maria worked in Paris and Athens at the international arbitration group of law firms. She has represented clients in arbitration proceedings across a range of industry sectors, including energy, mining and construction conducted under the ICC, LCIA, ICSID and UNCITRAL arbitration rules. In addition to her arbitration work, Maria has gained experience in public international law and human rights matters, as well as litigation before the Greek courts.


Maria is qualified in Greece and France and is registered with the Athens Bar. She holds an LL.B. from the Democritus University of Thrace, an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from the University of Athens, and a Master 2 in Litigation, Arbitration and ADR from the University of Paris (Panthéon-Assas). She also received further training at the University of Strasbourg and the Hague Academy of International Law.  Maria is fluent in Greek, French and English.
