Ania Farren is a Partner at Omnia Strategy. She is a highly experienced practitioner who advises and represents States and corporate entities in a wide variety of international dispute resolution and public international law matters, including commercial and investment treaty arbitrations. Ania has acted as counsel in disputes conducted under all of the major arbitration rules including ICC, ICSID, ICSID Additional Facility, LCIA and SCC.
Ania started her career within a magic circle firm before moving to the dedicated arbitration team of another magic circle firm based in Paris and Frankfurt. The majority of her career has been spent in London within arbitration and dispute resolution legal entities before, in 2018, joining one the largest third party funders as Managing Director. She is the current Chair of the ICC UK Committee on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution having previously held its Vice Chair position. She is a member of the ICCA / Queen Mary task-force on Third Party Funding and Chair of the Sub-Committee on privilege. She has been ranked, since 2012, in Chambers & Partners, Ranked 5th most highly regarded lawyer under 45 in Europe in the legal Who’s Who Future Leaders, and the Legal 500. She is regularly published in a variety of journals and media outlets and speaks at international arbitration events.
Ania is a qualified solicitor and admitted to the roll in England & Wales. She holds Higher Rights of Audience which allow her to represent clients as a solicitor advocate in the Senior civil or criminal courts throughout England & Wales. Ania received her MA from Downing College, Cambridge having studied Law, achieved a Distinction in her LPC at Nottingham Law School and is fluent in three languages including French and Polish.
